About

What should you know about me?

Well, I’m a forty year old chick who lives in the state shaped like a mitten.  I’m biracial, bisexual, and by golly I love my coffee. I take my camera with me almost everywhere I go, I love being artistic and anything creative floats my boat.  I knit, draw, scrapbook, make jewelry, do collages, and do embroidery among other artsy fartsy stuff that I love doing.

I have a chronic clinical form of depression called Dysthymic Disorder (or Dysthymia) which makes me a little, shall we say… interesting to be with sometimes.  Prozac has literally saved my life, thus the reason it’s in the title of this blog.

Writing has also been a tasty little life saver of mine and I have several novels written that readers throughout the world have read online.  I just haven’t jumped into the actual world of the published yet.  I had (have) a blog over at Livejournal that I used to update almost daily, but it got to the point where I was censoring myself to please others and it just wasn’t fun anymore.  My goal with this blog isn’t to so much share my daily to do list or tell you what I did while I was supposed to be working, but rather for all of those conversations, ideas, shorts, and monologues that go on in my head and want to be shared.

I love comments, in fact I’ll go as far as to say I’m a Comment Whore and the more comments I get the more I’ll want to write… however, rude comments and obvious attempts to start arguments will simply be deleted at my discretion.  If you have something epic to say don’t put it here, get your own damn blog.

Kel I have to ask, did you shut down your website? I can’t fins the site on my phone, and I reread your stories every year! Lol I’ve wanted to print them out for forever I just never get around to it. In the event that you did shut down the site, just know that you are an amazing writer and if it weren’t a liability, i’d say you should turn some of the stories into lifetime movies lol.

I was so happy when I found your site, almost had a small breakdown when I discovered that your website was taken down.. πŸ™‚ Have loved your writing for years, canΒ΄t wait to read more of your fics on hosted sites (have found one allready). Do you know if Lena will publish her work on other sites too? Keep on writing! XX

Thanks girlie. πŸ™‚ I hated ending the site, but it was costing me money and I didn’t have time to keep it updated like I wanted to. πŸ™‚ As for Lena, I don’t know. I don’t think she’s got her stuff anywhere anymore but you’d have to ask her. πŸ™‚

I was so bummed out to see you had taken down the website – I’ve been re-reading so many stories lately and am dying to ready Double Exposure and a few of the others again! You’re an awesome writer! Have you had any more luck getting them up on hosted sites?

I do have stuff up on AbsoluteChaos.net. It’s not all up there yet, but I’ve started putting up DE as well as WIP (which is finally almost done!). Go sign up and follow me as a favorite and you’ll get alerts when I update. πŸ™‚

Hi Kel, I’m so glad to have found you and your blog. I’m also biracial, bicurious and new to blogging after losing my husband. My condolences on the loss of your grandpa. Best wishes.

Hi! Just passing by and stopped to read- very enjoyable!

I was curious at the name of your site, as i have had a Prozac coffee mug for the last ten years at work! I know… I’ll buy a new one when it breaks. I found it in a thrift store and thought it was funny, since I love coffee and it often helps me to deal with the outside world– and helps me get the ideas in my head out into it. But yes, it is a promotional mug from Prozac. If you’d like a photo i will be happy to send you one.

Hi Kel… I remember reading your stories (and Lena’s) forever ago on your BetheStage site as well as the one you moved to after – which I cannot for the life of me remember the name of. I feel awful that I have forgotten the names of your stories over the years, but I have spent the last 8 hours searching for you, your site and your stories to finally find you here.

You don’t know me and I will totally understand if you say no, but would you be willing to email me your stories so that I might read them again? I am an AJ fan and your stories were always among my favorites, but life got in the way.

I know that your skills have likely grown since then, but you are an incredible writer and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Best wishes,
    Heather

      Hi there!

Thank you so much for the comment. πŸ™‚ I’m always happy to hear from my fanfic readers! If you give me your email address I can send you Double Exposure and A Work In Progress. Those are the two I know I have in PDF form. I haven’t converted the others yet, but you could be my inspiration to finally get to it. LOL πŸ™‚

And by all means, please keep in touch and read the blog! πŸ™‚ I’ve been working on a few different pieces of fiction and will often post chapters here. They’re not fanfic, but let’s face it… the Boys are still almost always the actors in my head when I’m writing. πŸ™‚

        Hi Kel,

My address is heatherfanderson1980@gmail.com and I am happy to read whatever you are willing to send… And if you do convert the others, I will be happy to read those as well!

I will certainly read the blog and keep in touch. I totally hear you about the Boys being the actors in your head. That makes perfect sense to me! Going out to old archives is so frustrating. The stories I want to read invariably have a broken link. It makes me pout a little.

I look forward to reading your stories again and thank you for being willing to share them!

        =)
